The goal for this mission work:
We use the “4-T” formula in our efforts “Teach’em, Train’em, Trust’em, Turn’em loose!”

We are making the Indian brethren full partners in the work now, not in the distant future. Indian brethren plan the work with us, teach in our preacher-training schools and are, in fact, doing the bulk of the work. Obviously, God deserves all glory, honor, praise and credit for all that this team has achieved. Yet, our Indian brethren are the “unsung heroes” of the Lord’s work in India.

Truth for Today World Mission School in Searcy, Arkansas, is a multifaceted non-profit organization dedicated to world evangelism. Directed by Eddie Cloer, a professor emeritus of Bible and preaching courses at Harding University, TFTWMS strives to teach faithfully the Holy Scriptures of our Lord.

Experienced missionaries agree that the survival and spiritual growth of congregations planted around the world may depend on the availability of printed Bible-study materials. The primary focus of Truth for Today World Mission School, a monthly publication called Truth for Today, is designed to address this need.

This publication is sent to tens of thousands of preachers and Bible teachers. Each issue is the equivalent of a 150-page book. It is published twelve times a year and is mailed in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese to thousands of preaching brethren in many nations all over the globe. Additional book forms of the issues are printed in India languages that get sent out a couple times a year. Translating offices have been established in Brazil, China, Costa Rica, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, and Ukraine.
Specific content guidelines have been set to ensure that the teaching materials are in harmony with the restoration of New Testament Christianity. Special projects: Through The Scriptures, Into the Abundant Life, Becoming a Faithful Christian, Facebook and Twitter.

“And the things which you have heard from me in 
the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, 
who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).

Ours is a ministry of edification and evangelism.  I cherish the biblical training I received as a child from my parents and from the church – even more so after I met a generation of children who did not have any church experience or parents like mine.  On a short-term mission trip to teach basic Bible stories to kids in a public camp in Siberia, in 1996, I met 16 kids in my first session and learned that only 2 of them had heard how God created the world – and those two heard the story only from their grandmothers.  I quickly realized that those 16 kids represented the other 800 that were in the camp that summer and the rest of their generation.  They all were healthy, joyful, playful – and dead.  They were lost, living without a true foundation, without hope – and they didn’t even know it.  They deserved to know.  We all deserve to know.  The Good News we have isn’t ours to keep.  It is ours to give away, freely and generously.  Thank you for your partnership in doing just that.

In 2001, Joseph and Sonia officially began living out the FOUNDATIONS ministry with the support of churches and individuals known to both of them.  Since then, they have worked among and with the church in Barnaul staying true to the original calling:

1) Edify the church by teaching foundational truth and living out that example, focusing on children, teens, and young adults, helping them to stabilize their faith, and 2) Evangelize the lost generation through summer camp outreach and other similar works.

For God’s glory they have worked – and are still working with your partnership – in these areas:

• Children’s classes – developing and sharing materials with churches in other cities

• Teen’s program – developing and presenting curriculum to inform and prepare them for productive Christian adulthood; conducting regular social events to promote unity and community among this age group

• Young adults – involving them in opportunities to serve and “pay forward” what blessings they have received

• Small Group Bible Studies – of various designs for various groups:  Ladies group studies, Experiencing God, The Testing of your Faith, Through the Bible in One Year, Through the Bible in Two Years, Portrait of a Biblical Marriage, and many other personally developed studies

• Christian Camp – “Footprints in the Sand”, started locally in Barnaul in 2005, is now a 14-day camp with 3 concurrent scripture-based curriculums for ages 1-8, 9-14, and 15-19.  It involves adults and children from all the churches of Christ in Siberia, plus Moscow, St Petersburg, and sometimes individuals from France and Kazakhstan.  “Footprints in the Snow” (initiated by Russian members of the summer team) started in the winter of 2016 for students 14-19 years old.

• Individual Bible Studies and Counseling – local and online studies mostly with youth       

• ScreamFree Parenting – conducting public seminars of this beneficial material in order to reach out into the community in a respectful, helpful, and beneficial way that expresses God’s practical love for people; also traveling to offer this seminar to churches in other cities

• Church Leadership – working alongside Christian Russians as servant-leaders among the LORD’s church
